October 17, 2018. I. Ye. Vitvitskaya, Researcher of the Laboratory of Electronic Publications of GC RAS, attended the Scopus and ScienceDirect workshop for researchers and scientific organizations (“New opportunities and development trends”) at the Natural Sciences Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences (BEN RAS).

The participants learned how to use the Elsevier library of magazines and books on the ScienceDirect platform and the Scopus annotations and citations database. Methods of effective search, available analytical tools, personalization options, and the main criteria for choosing a journal when publishing a scientific article were presented at the workshop.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 10, 2024. The RSF supported the project of the GC RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs".

April 5, 2024. Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev took part in the V. P. Fyodorov Arctic Seminar.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).
