September 18, 2018. A meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Central Scientific Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering of Roscosmos State Corporation took place in the city of Korolyov. Within the framework of the meeting, the research work carried out by GC RAS and devoted to the analysis of the study of the Earth’s magnetic field as applied to the problem of the development of navigation systems and orientation using magnetic data, was defended.

The results of the research were presented by Deputy Director for Science A. A. Soloviev, who is the project manager. The work was positively assessed and approved. The project has been successfully completed.
