March 27, 2024. On March 26, 2024, a meeting of the Bureau of the Department of Earth Sciences of RAS was held under the chairmanship of Academician Secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences of RAS Academician of RAS Nikolay Bortnikov.

During the meeting, there was a solemn presentation of state awards. Vice-President of RAS Academician of RAS Sergey Aldoshin presented Director of the Geophysical Center of RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev with the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 2nd grade for his great contribution to the development of national science, long-term fruitful activity, and in connection with the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The staff of the Geophysical Center of RAS congratulates Anatoly Alexandrovich on the high state award and wishes him further success in the development of Russian science.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 10, 2024. The RSF supported the project of the GC RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs".

April 5, 2024. Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev took part in the V. P. Fyodorov Arctic Seminar.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).
