A youth laboratory will be opened at the Geophysical Center of RAS

April 15, 2024. Within the framework of the national project "Science and Universities", 200 new youth laboratories will be created in 2024. The Geophysical Center of RAS was among the organizations selected. The new laboratory will research the theory and practice of Big Data in Arctic studies.

The total amount of funding for youth laboratories is 3.2 billion rubles. Most of the teams include researchers under the age of 39: graduate students, research engineers, researchers, undergraduates, and university graduates. The activity is aimed at the rapid practical application of scientific results.
