The Golitsyn Prize is the prestigious and only prize of RAS in geophysics, which has been awarded by the Department of Earth Sciences of RAS (formerly OGGGS RAS) every three years since 1994 for outstanding scientific work.

For about 20 years, scientists at the GC RAS conducted the scientific research. As a result, more than 30 works were published, including three monographs and the unique electronic “Atlas of the Earth's Magnetic Field from 1500 to 2010”, adapted for demonstration on spherical screens.

The staff of the Geophysical Center congratulates the winners and wishes them further success in science.
