April 25, 2024. On April 23, 2024, in the Kremlin Palace, there was a solemn celebration of the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the construction of the Baikal–Amur Mainline.

The event was attended by members of the Scientific Council of RAS "Environment and Transport": Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev.
