November 3, 2023. On the new website of the Scientific Council of RAS «Environment and Transport,» you can find news about the activities of the Council, its composition, documents, announcements of events, and contact information.

The Scientific Council of RAS was established in order to study, analyze the achievements and forecast the development of Russian and world science, determine the priority directions of its development in the field of the impact of environmental changes on transport and impact of transport on the environment. The Council includes Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS A. A. Soloviev and Chief Scientist of the GC RAS Academician of RAS A. D. Gvishiani.

April 27, 2024. April 27, 2024. On April 17–24, 2024, employees of the Geophysical Center of RAS made reports at the International Scientific Conference of Undegraduate Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists "Lomonosov – 2024".

April 26, 2024. On April 26, 2024, D.Sc. Vladimir Kaftan presented a report at the II All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation "GEOFORUM. NIZHNY NOVGOROD".

April 25, 2024. On April 23, 2024, Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev took part in an event in honor of the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline.

April 24, 2024. On April 23, 2024, the Presidium of RAS unanimously supported the decision of the expert commission of RAS to award the Golitsyn Prize to Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev.
