December 21, 2023. On December 18, 2023, Chief Scientist of the GC RAS Deputy Chairman of the RAS Scientific Council Academician of RAS A. D. Gvishiani took part in the meeting of the RAS Scientific Council «Environment and Transport».

The participants discussed activities of the RAS Scientific Council, strengthening ties between fundamental and applied research, cooperation in the fields of education and scientific research, and other issues.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the RAS Scientific Council Deputy President of the RAS Academician of RAS G. G. Matishov, the Bureau of the RAS Scientific Council, as well as Head of Russian University of Transport (MIIT) PhD A. A. Klimov, Head of RUT (MIIT) Law Institute PhD E. A. Nesterov, and other representatives of the university. The moderator was Deputy Chairman of the RAS Scientific Council Corresponding Member of RAS I. N. Rosenberg.

April 25, 2024. On April 23, 2024, Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev took part in an event in honor of the 50th anniversary of the beginning of the construction of the Baikal-Amur Mainline.

April 24, 2024. On April 23, 2024, the Presidium of RAS unanimously supported the decision of the expert commission of RAS to award the Golitsyn Prize to Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev.
