February 15, 2024. On February 15, 2024, a meeting of the Presidium of the RAS was held. At the beginning, Presidential Aide Andrei Fursenko and President of RAS Academician of RAS Gennady Krasnikov presented state awards to outstanding scientists – members of RAS.

Scientific Director of the GC RAS Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani was awarded the Order of Honor for his great contribution to the development of Russian science, long-term fruitful activity, and in connection with the 300th anniversary of the foundation of RAS.

The staff of the Geophysical Center of RAS congratulates Alexey Jermenovich on the high award and wishes him further success in the development of Russian science.

April 24, 2024. On April 23, 2024, the Presidium of RAS unanimously supported the decision of the expert commission of RAS to award the Golitsyn Prize to Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev.
