Scientific Interests: Geoinformatics, mathematical methods of artificial intelligence in geophysics, seismic hazard and seismic risk assessment.
Research: In 2014 defended the thesis "Clustering in Earthquake-Prone Areas Recognition in California and the Caucasus" for the PhD degree in physical and mathematical sciences. In 2021 defended the thesis "System-Analytical Method of Strong Earthquake-Prone Areas Recognition" for the Dr. Sc. degree in physical and mathematical sciences. Member of the RAS Scientific Council for the Study of the Arctic and Antarctic. Member of the editorial board of the "Journal of Volcanology and Seismology". Author of more than 30 publications in high-rank scientific journals.
