On January 7, 2026, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev, Director of the Geophysical Center RAS, participated in a meeting of members of the RAS Department of Earth Sciences at the Kislovodsk High-Mountain Scientific Station of the A. M. Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics of RAS.

December 25, 2025. On December 24, 2025, the Geophysical Center of RAS hosted a meeting of the Geodesy Section of the National Geophysical Committee of RAS.
December 22, 2025. On December 17, 2025, Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani was awarded the anniversary medal "For Works Retribution" in honor of the 260th anniversary of the Free Economic Society of Russia. The award recognizes his the long-term work in organizing and chairing of the Arctic Academic Forum.
