October 19, 2026. Scientists of the GC RAS, as part of a Russian Academy of Sciences delegation, participated in organizing and conducting the international conference "Systems Analysis for Natural Disaster Risk Assessment and Climate Change Adaptation" in Uzbekistan.

Scientists of the GC RAS participated in organizing and conducting the III International Scientific and Practical Conference "Design, Construction, and Operation of Transport Infrastructure Facilities in Complex Climatic and Engineering-Geological Conditions", which was held on October 16–17, 2026, at the Russian University of Transport.

October 14, 2026. At the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Leading Research Scientist of the Laboratory of Mathematical Geophysics of the Geophysical Center RAS, PhD Roman Sidorov presented a report on the topic "System Analysis of Extreme Events in the Dynamics of the Electromagnetic Field of the Earth and Near-Earth Space" (based on materials from his doctoral dissertation).

October 13, 2026. A measurement pavilion for the "Klimovskaya" geomagnetic observatory of the Geophysical Center RAS has been deployed in Arkhangelsk Oblast.
