April 5, 2021. Academician of RAS, Chief Scientist of GC RAS and Chairman of the Scientific Council of RAS for the Study of the Arctic and Antarctic Alexei Dzhermenovich Gvishiani took part in the analytical program of the Free Economic Society (FES) of Russia "House E".

House E is the virtual living room of the House of the Economist. The author and host of the program - President of FES Sergey Bodrunov invites famous Russian and foreign experts to talk.

The topic of the meeting with Academician A. D. Gvishiani was “Sustainable Development in the Arctic Circle. What provides it?". Sustainable economic, environmental and social development of the region is included in Russia's strategic goals for the development of the Arctic.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 10, 2024. The RSF supported the project of the GC RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs".

April 5, 2024. Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev took part in the V. P. Fyodorov Arctic Seminar.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).
