February 27, 2025. From February 12 to February 14, 2025, scientists of the Geophysical Center RAS paid a working visit to the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) in Hermanus, South Africa.

The GC RAS was represented by Director, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev, Scientific Secretary, PhD Roman Krasnoperov, and Chief of the Geophysical Monitoring Sector, PhD Dmitry Kudin.

During the visit, a scientific seminar was organized, at which reports on research conducted in both organizations were presented. After the seminar, a working meeting was held. The participants discussed promising areas of joint work. Russian scientists visited the magnetic observatory and got acquainted with the field of activity of various SANSA units located in Hermanus.
