February 20, 2019. A workshop took place in the Belousov hall of GC RAS. Dr. Sc. D.M. Ermakov, leading researcher of the Fryazinsky branch of the Kotelnikov Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics spoke about “Satellite radio-thermal tracing of mesoscale and synoptic atmospheric processes”.

In his report, the speaker outlined in detail the new approach to processing and analyzing remote satellite radio-thermal monitoring data of the Earth, which led to the formation of a “satellite radio thermal imaging” in the framework of environmental studies using radio-physical methods. It is worth noting that satellite radio thermal imaging offers a unified approach to the processing and analysis of satellite radio thermal monitoring data, which currently has no analogues.
