June 18, 2024. On June 18, 2024, a delegation from the Institute of Geophysics (the China Earthquake Administration) visited the Geophysical Center of RAS.

The guests were received by Deputy Director for Science D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev, Scientific Secretary PhD Roman Krasnoperov, Chief of the Laboratory of Geophysical Data PhD Boris Dzeranov, and Chief of the Geophysical Monitoring Sector PhD Dmitry Kudin.

There was a productive discussion of cooperation between the organizations in the field of geophysical research.

November 13, 2024. On November 13, 2024, during a joint Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS and the Scientific Council of RAS for the Studies of the Arctic and Antarctic, PhD Zhanna Vasilyeva made a report "On the Use of Satellite Data in Developing Tools for Regulating Access to Arctic Waters".

November 11, 2024. On November 11, 2024, Scientific Secretary of GC RAS PhD Roman Krasnoperov delivered a lecture at Lomonosov Moscow State University on "Fundamentals of Satellite Remote Sensing and Mapping of the Earth, Moon, and Planets of the Solar System".

November 11, 2024. On November 6–7, 2024, young scientists of the GC RAS took part in the Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Graduate Students of the IPE RAS 2024.

November 8, 2024. The Presidium of RAS approved the new composition of the Scientific Council of RAS for the Studies of the Arctic and Antarctic. It included scientists of the Geophysical Center RAS.
