June 1, 2018. Senior researcher at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and Geomagnetic Studies of GC RAS R. Sidorov redefined the difference in the magnetic field F0 between the measuring pavilions at the Klimovskaya Magnetic Observatory. Over the past year, the change in this difference was 0.2 nT, which is a relatively small amount and indicates that no artificial sources of disturbance appeared in the pavilion of absolute measurements after its renovation.

In addition, a series of measurements of absolute magnetic declination and inclination with a new value of F0 was carried out jointly with the chief specialist of the Laboratory of Geodynamics V. Kabrov.
