June 6, 2018. Director of GC RAS A. D. Gvishiani and Senior research scientis of the Laboratory of Electronic Publications O. E. Louppov took part in the meeting of the round table of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) "Prospects for the Common Economic Space of the EU-EEU: Challenges and Opportunities for Business", organized jointly by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Eurasian Economic Commission, International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Association of European Businesses and the National Coordinating Center for Development of Economic Relations with Countries in the Asia-Pacific Region.

During the roundtable, high-ranking representatives of business, government authorities and the academic community of the EU-EEU countries discussed the current state of affairs in European-Eurasian relations with the aim of expanding and deepening mutually beneficial economic cooperation. The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is an all-Russian organization representing business interests both in Russia and internationally. The Russian Union carries out its activities through two legal entities with different legal status - the All-Russian Association of Employers and the All-Russian Public Organization.

RUIE today is more than one hundred branch and regional associations representing key sectors of the economy: fuel and energy complex, machine building, investment banking sector, as well as the defense industrial complex, construction, chemical production, light and food industries, services.

RUIE unites thousands of the largest Russian companies - representatives of industrial, scientific, financial and commercial organizations in all regions of Russia.
