February 28, 2019. GC RAS and the Institute of Ionosphere (Almaty, Kazakhstan) signed an agreement in October last year to transfer operational geomagnetic data from the INTERMAGNET Alma-Ata Observatory (AAA code) to the Russian-Ukrainian Geomagnetic Data Center operating in GC RAS for the purpose of data accumulation, conversion, visualization, as well as providing access to them through the Center website.

On February 28, 2019, a data exchange channel was established between the Alma-Ata Observatory and the server of the Russian-Ukrainian Geomagnetic Data Center. Data is transmitted online. The parties will exchange historical data through the World Data Centers operating in GC RAS.

The figure shows a fragment of the geomagnetic video board of GC RAS. The board displays current geomagnetic data recorded by magnetic observatories in Russia and the near abroad.
