September 19, 2019. Corresponding Member of RAS, Dr. Sc., Director of GC RAS Anatoly Soloviev made a presentation “Mathematical Methods for Processing Terrestrial and Satellite Based Geomagnetic Measurement Flows to Expand Knowledge about the Earth’s magnetic field" at a meeting of the Scientific Council on Geochemistry of Earth Sciences Branch of RAS. His presentation aroused great interest of the audience, as scientists saw a new approach to the study of the Earth and the ability to use these results in their scientific works.

In turn, the speaker expressed gratitude for the opportunity to jointly discuss scientific methods with the country's largest experts in the field of geochemistry.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).

March 27, 2024. On March 26, 2024, at a meeting of the Bureau of the Department of Earth Sciences of RAS, Director of the Geophysical Center of RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev was awarded the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 2nd grade.

March 21, 2024. On March 21, 2024, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Geophysical Center of RAS.

March 13, 2024. On March 13, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, PhD Alexey Morozov presented his report "Seismicity of the Western Sector of the Russian Arctic and Adjacent Territories during the Instrumental Observation Period".
