November 6, 2019. R. Sidorov, senior researcher at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and Geomagnetic Research, made a presentation “Cappametry of building materials for magnetic observatories” at a scientific workshop in GC RAS.

Roman Viktorovich made an overview of the phenomenon of magnetism in matter, spoke about the magnetic properties of minerals and rocks, about measuring equipment, as well as about the studies of the magnetic susceptibility of construction materials for magnetic observatories. He spoke about field and laboratory measurements and showed the samples of various materials and adhesives.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 10, 2024. The RSF supported the project of the GC RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs".

April 5, 2024. Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev took part in the V. P. Fyodorov Arctic Seminar.

March 27, 2024. On March 27, 2024, at the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS, Research Scientist of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth of RAS Yevgeny Fattakhov presented his report "Development of Methods for Long-term Series Analysis of Geodeformation Observations in Seismically Active and Oil and Gas Bearing Regions" (based on his PhD thesis).
