January 25, 2024. On January 23–24, 2024, Lomonosov Moscow State University hosted the International Conference «System Analysis: Modeling and Management», devoted to the memory of Academician of RAS A. V. Kryazhimsky.

Scientific Director of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS A. D. Gvishiani delivered a welcome speech at the opening of the conference.

The event was dedicated to modern management theory and system analysis for the study of complex socio-economic and environmental processes.

November 13, 2024. On November 13, 2024, during a joint Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS and the Scientific Council of RAS for the Studies of the Arctic and Antarctic, PhD Zhanna Vasilyeva made a report "On the Use of Satellite Data in Developing Tools for Regulating Access to Arctic Waters".

November 11, 2024. On November 11, 2024, Scientific Secretary of GC RAS PhD Roman Krasnoperov delivered a lecture at Lomonosov Moscow State University on "Fundamentals of Satellite Remote Sensing and Mapping of the Earth, Moon, and Planets of the Solar System".

November 11, 2024. On November 6–7, 2024, young scientists of the GC RAS took part in the Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Graduate Students of the IPE RAS 2024.

November 8, 2024. The Presidium of RAS approved the new composition of the Scientific Council of RAS for the Studies of the Arctic and Antarctic. It included scientists of the Geophysical Center RAS.
