February 2, 2024. On January 26, 2024, a delegation of the Kosygin State University of Russia visited the Geophysical Center of RAS. The delegation included Rector of the University Professor D.Sc. Valery Belgorodsky and Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation D.Sc. Alexey Silakov. The guests were received by Director of the GC RAS Corr. RAS D.Sc. Anatoly Soloviev, Scientific Director of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS D.Sc. Alexey Gvishiani, and Scientific Secretary PhD Roman Krasnoperov.
A fruitful discussion of the issues of cooperation between the two organizations took place.
The Kosygin State University of Russia was founded in 1930. Initially, its mission was to provide engineering personnel for light industry. Currently, the key areas of activity of the University are art, design, and technology. The university consists of 11 institutes and 3 branches. Over 10 thousand students are trained in numerous fields, from the textile industry to IT.
