April 10, 2024. The Russian Science Foundation summed up the results of the competition of projects by individual scientific groups. There were selected 515 projects.

Among those supported is the project of the Geophysical Center of RAS "Determination of the Spatial and Temporal Structure of the Earth's Magnetic Field in the Vicinity of Geomagnetic Observatories of the Russian Federation with the Use of UAVs". The project leader is Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev. The project is planned for 2024–2026.

April 19, 2024. The International Conference "Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences" will be held on September 25-27, 2024 in Suzdal (Vladimir Oblast). The event is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

April 18, 2024. On June 4–7, 2024, the IV All-Russian School of Young Scientists "System Analysis of the Dynamics of Natural Processes in the Russian Arctic" will be held in Vidnoye.

April 15, 2024. A youth laboratory will be opened at the Geophysical Center of RAS.

April 12, 2024. On April 12, 2024, the election of director of the Geophysical Center of RAS took place.
