April 18, 2024. On June 4–7, 2024, the IV All-Russian School of Young Scientists "System Analysis of the Dynamics of Natural Processes in the Russian Arctic" will be held in Vidnoye.

The All-Russian School of Young Scientists "System Analysis of the Dynamics of Natural Processes in the Russian Arctic" has been held since 2021. It is devoted to the topical issues of comprehensive study and exploration of the North. As part of the scientific program, lectures by leading Russian scientists and specialists are presented to the audience. The organizer is the Geophysical Center of RAS.

November 13, 2024. On November 13, 2024, during a joint Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS and the Scientific Council of RAS for the Studies of the Arctic and Antarctic, PhD Zhanna Vasilyeva made a report "On the Use of Satellite Data in Developing Tools for Regulating Access to Arctic Waters".

November 11, 2024. On November 11, 2024, Scientific Secretary of GC RAS PhD Roman Krasnoperov delivered a lecture at Lomonosov Moscow State University on "Fundamentals of Satellite Remote Sensing and Mapping of the Earth, Moon, and Planets of the Solar System".

November 11, 2024. On November 6–7, 2024, young scientists of the GC RAS took part in the Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Graduate Students of the IPE RAS 2024.

November 8, 2024. The Presidium of RAS approved the new composition of the Scientific Council of RAS for the Studies of the Arctic and Antarctic. It included scientists of the Geophysical Center RAS.
