April 27, 2024. On April 17–24, 2024, employees of the Geophysical Center of RAS made reports at the International Scientific Conference of Undegraduate Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists "Lomonosov – 2024".
On April 17, Engineer at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and Geomagnetic Studies Georgy Gvozdik made the report "New Methods of Statistical Analysis of Paleomagnetic Data: Theory and Practice". At the end of the conference, Georgy Gvozdik was awarded a diploma for the best report in the subsection "Dynamic Geology".
On April 24, Junior Research Scientist at the Laboratory of Geophysical Data Olga Shevaldysheva presented the report "Comprehensive Magnetometric and Gravimetric Surveys of impact crater Lake Smerdyachye (Shatursky District of Moscow Oblast)". She presented the results of geophysical work carried out with the use of gravity and magnetic exploration methods. On its basis, the meteoritic origin of the lake was confirmed.
