July 5, 2024. On June, 30 – July 3, 2024, the delegations of the Geophysical Center of RAS and the Academician N. P. Laverov Federal Center for Integrated Arctic Research UB RAS visited the Klimovskaya Geomagnetic Observatory (Konoshsky District of Arkhangelsk Oblast). The delegations were headed by the heads of the organizations – Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev and Corresponding Member of RAS Ivan Bolotov. The event was also attended by President of the Lomonosov Foundation Corresponding Member of RAS Konstantin Lobanov.

As part of the working meeting, a tour of the observatory was organized. The participants also resolved some management issues. They discussed further plans for the development of the observatory and the Rotkovets Geobiostationary, on the basis of which it operates. Also during the visit, scientists of the GC RAS (Acting Deputy Director for General Affairs Maxim Pasishnichenko, Scientific Secretary PhD Roman Krasnoperov, and Leading Engineer Andrey Grudnev) carried out some technical and maintenance works at the observatory.
