November 6, 2024. There were published abstracts for the International Conference “Data Science, Geoinformatics and Systems Analysis in Geosciences”. The event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Geophysical Center RAS and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The collection addresses topical issues of natural and man-made disasters, the interaction of the environment and transport, and the application of geoinformatics methods in Earth sciences. The latest scientific achievements are presented in works devoted to system analysis and Big Data. Special attention is paid to the Arctic. The problems of radiation from the Earth's magnetosphere and space weather are being highlighted. Equipment in Earth sciences has become an important topic. A number of works are devoted to oil and gas and mining complexes.

The conference was held in the city of Suzdal on September 25–27, 2024. The organizer was the Geophysical Center of RAS with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian University of Transport (MIIT), and the Tyazhpressmash Scientific and Technical Center.
