December 19, 2024. On December 18, 2024, the Director of the Geophysical Center RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev took part in a meeting of Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov with the heads of scientific organizations subordinate to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

During the event at the INION RAS, preliminary results of 2024 and plans for 2025 were discussed. Valery Falkov said that after the completion of the national project "Science and Universities", most of the programs would be continued as new national projects and the state program "Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation". In particular, the contest for the creation of youth laboratories would be continued. The updating of the equipment would become available to a wider range of participants. The minister also noted that the domain "Science" was being increasingly used. The head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education paid special attention to cooperation with large enterprises.
