December 13, 2024. On December 12, 2024, the 89th meeting of the Scientific Council of the GC RAS was held.
The heads of scientific research presented the main results obtained in 2024 within the framework of the state assignment.
Director of the GC RAS, Chief of the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and Geomagnetic Studies, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev made a report on «The Development of Mathematical Methods for the Intelligent Analysis of Geophysical Monitoring Data for the Study of Electromagnetic Parameters of the Earth and Near-Earth Space».
The report «Fundamental Research and Development of Methods for Forecasting and Monitoring of the Stability of the Geological Environment for Preventing Threats from Nuclear Energy Facilities and Natural Hazards» was presented by Viktor Tatarinov, the Deputy Director for Science, Chief of the Laboratory of Geodynamics, Corresponding Member of RAS.
Deputy Director for Science, Head of the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and the Arctic Big Data D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev presented the report «Structuring, Visualization, Analysis, and Dissemination of Geophysical Data».
The report «The Development of Theoretical Foundations and Experimental Methods of System Analysis for the Comprehensive Study of Geophysical, Geodetic, and Meteorological Data» was presented by the Chief of the Geophysical Monitoring Sector PhD Dmitry Kudin.
The most important results of the GC RAS in 2024 were approved by voting.
