March 26, 2025. On March 26, 2025, the Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS was held online. Ivan Lisenkov, a junior research scientist at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and Geomagnetic Studies of the GC RAS, presented the report "Multiparametric Analysis of the Spatial Distribution of Geological and Geophysical Parameters Using Machine Learning Methods and Optimization of Photographic Images".
Ivan Lisenkov reviewed the methods of multiparametric analysis of the spatial distribution of geological and geophysical data using machine learning algorithms. Multiparametric analysis is a research method based on the simultaneous accounting and processing of multiple parameters. In geological and geophysical research, the analysis allows the integration of various types of data. The approach is aimed at solving urgent geophysical problems, such as recognizing the locations of possible strong earthquakes.
In the second part of the report, modern computer vision technologies were considered to optimize and improve the quality of photographic images that can be used for multiparametric analysis of geospatial data.
