March 24, 2025. On March 21, 2025, in Novosibirsk, the Trofimuk Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics SB RAS (IPGG SB RAS) hosted a series of celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Academician of RAS, Professor, D. Sc. Mikhail Epov, Chief Scientist Scientific Director of the IPGG SB RAS, Chairman of the Joint Scientific Council SB RAS on Earth Sciences.

Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and Director of the GC RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev took part in the anniversary events: the All-Russian scientific conference "Prospects of Geophysics and Geology of the First Half of the XXI Century" and in the solemn meeting of the Scientific Council of the IPGG SB RAS.

At the conference, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev made the joint report with Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani "Geomagnetic Monitoring of Directional Drilling Using Big Data Technologies". During the meeting of the Scientific Council, delegates from the GC RAS congratulated Academician of RAS Mikhail Epov and presented memorable gifts.
