April 25, 2025. On April 20, 2024, an expedition to the Nadymsky District of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug was completed. Scientists of the GC RAS performed a complex of geophysical and geodetic measurements. The research was carried out in the interests of the Russian oil and gas industry using high-precision geodetic and geophysical equipment of the GC RAS with the use of a specially developed methodology.

Experienced scientists were recruited to participate in the expedition under the guidance of Junior Research Scientist Vladimir Sergeev: Acting Deputy Director for General Affairs Maxim Pasishnichenko, Leading Engineer Andrey Grudnev, and Senior Specialist Vyacheslav Kabrov. The methodological support of the expedition was provided by Chief of the Geophysical Monitoring Sector, PhD Dmitry Kudin. Despite difficult climatic and logistical conditions, the tasks were completed in full and the work was completed on schedule.

The expedition was conducted within the framework of the scientific direction on the technological support of efficient hydrocarbon production in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, headed by the Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS, D.Sc. Anatoly Soloviev.
