May 9, 2025. On May 9, 2025, we celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Scientists of the Academy of Sciences made an important contribution to the Victory, among them the heads of organizations that preceded the GC RAS. Thus, Academician Ivan Bardin became one of the leaders of resource mobilization for defense needs, participated in the reconstruction of industrial enterprises, continued and organized research. During the harsh years, research was conducted by Academician Grigory Gamburtsev, Corresponding Member Vladimir Belousov, and many other prominent scientists.

We congratulate our colleagues on this great holiday and wish them further success in their research, which will benefit our country and contribute to the development of science, as well as the work of their predecessors.
