October 23, 2025. On October 22, 2025, a Scientific Seminar of the GC RAS and the Faculty of Geology at Lomonosov Moscow State University was held.

Alexey Dmitrievich Shklyaruk, postgraduate student at the Faculty of Geology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, researcher at the Fedorov Institute of Applied Geophysics, presented the report "Application of Neural Networks in the Analysis of Anomalous Gravitational and Magnetic Fields" (based on the materials of his thesis).

The report was focused on the urgent problem of improving the efficiency of interpreting gravity and magnetic survey data.

The proposed methods can automate the process of qualitative analysis of gravitational and magnetic fields, increasing accuracy and reducing processing time. This has significant practical importance for the mineral exploration, studies of the deep structure of the Earth's crust, and planetary research.
