December 17, 2025. On December 10, 2025, an International Scientific Session and Celebrations Dedicated to the 95th Anniversary of the Geological Institute of RAS was held.

On behalf of the Geophysical Center of RAS, heartfelt congratulations and best wishes were extended by its Chief Scientist, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani and its Director, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev. They congratulated the management and staff of the Geological Institute of RAS and presented commemorative gifts.

In his speech, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani paid tribute to the great scientists of the past and highlighted the outstanding achievements of contemporary researchers, which have significantly enhanced the institute's prestige.

Continuing the congratulations, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev emphasized that the Geological Institute of RAS currently stands as one of the exemplary institutes within the RAS Department of Geosciences. He noted the considerable progress made by the Geological Institute of RAS over the past decade. He also highlighted a significant increase in the number of young researchers at the institute.

The staff of the Geophysical Center of RAS joins in these congratulations and wishes the Director of the Geological Institute of RAS, Academician of RAS Kirill Degtyarev and the entire institute continued success in scientific organization and research.
