October 8-10, 2018. A. I. Rybkina, Deputy Director of GC RAS for Development, and A. A. Odintsova, Researcher, Laboratory of Innovation Projects, visited the Kazan Federal University.

The main purpose of the trip was the presentation of A. A. Odintsova “Multi-criteria system of identifiers of field quality by the example of the ROSA GIS project” at a scientific seminar held at the Department of Geophysics of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies of Kazan Federal University (KFU).

During the visit, organizational issues were resolved concerning the holding of the International Scientific and Practical Seminar of the International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy, at the Observatory of Kazan University in 2020 (IAGA Workshop, Kazan, 2020). A separate topic for discussion in the framework of the trip was a discussion of a project to create a demonstration center based on a spherical screen at KFU.

During the visit, A. I. Rybkina and A. A. Odintsova learned about the capabilities of the laboratories of isotope geochemistry and stratigraphy, X-ray computed tomography, geological and hydrodynamic modeling of the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies at KFU, and also noted the high level of advanced technical equipment of the University laboratories.
