November 7-10, 2018. Head of the laboratory of geophysical data B. A. Dzeboev and a leading researcher of the laboratory of geoinformatics and geomagnetic research Sh. R. Bogoutdinov took part in the IV International Scientific Conference of Young Scientists “Engineering Seismology and Seismic Resistance Construction”, held in Tsakhkadzor, Republic of Armenia. The conference was devoted to the 110th anniversary of the founder of the Institute of Geophysics and Engineering Seismology of NAS RA (IGES NAS RA) academician A. Nazarov and the thirtieth anniversary of the Spitak earthquake.

Researchers of GC RAS reported on the results of the projects “Study of the sustainability of rock massifs based on system analysis of geodynamic processes for geo-environmentally safe underground isolation of radioactive waste” and “Development of physical models for assessing the risk of the negative impact of space weather on technological systems” implemented by GC RAS in the framework of grants of the Russian Science Foundation (RNF).
