February 9, 2024. On February 8, 2024, a solemn event dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held in the State Kremlin Palace.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of RAS Academician Gennady Krasnikov held speeches. Vladimir Putin honored outstanding scientists with state awards and the 2023 Presidential Prize in Science and Innovation for Young Scientists. The official part was followed by a concert.

Employees of the Geophysical Center of RAS took part in the event. There were Scientific Director of the GC RAS Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani, Director of the GC RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev, Head of the Laboratory of Geodynamics of the GC RAS Corresponding Member of RAS Viktor Tatarinov, Scientific Secretary Ph.D. Roman Krasnoperov, Head of the Geophysical Monitoring Sector Ph.D. Dmitry Kudin, Junior Research Scientist Ekaterina Solovieva, and Engineer Ph.D. Tatyana Kudryavtseva.
