November 11, 2024. On November 6–7, 2024, the Scientific Conference of Young Scientists and Graduate Students of the IPE RAS 2024 was held. The following young scientists of the GC RAS took part in the event: Research Scientists PhD Dastan Akmatov, Iliya Losev, PhD Kirill Kholodkov, and PhD Roman Shevchuk, Junior Research Scientists Fyodor Perederin and Olga Shevaldysheva, engineers Artyom Kamaev, Ksenia Kochubey, and Valery Shcherbakov.

During the conference, some modern problems of Earth sciences were discussed. The event was held in two stages. At the first stage, young scientists briefly announced the essence of their research to a wide audience. Special attention was paid to the problems and relevance of the research, as well as the approaches and methods used in solving tasks.

The second stage included a poster session designed to present the research results in detail and conduct a free discussion. Young scientists of the GC RAS received valuable advice from leading scientists of the Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth, which would help in further research.
