November 25, 2025. On November 25, 2025, Yuliana Rostovtseva, D.Sc., a principal research scientist at the GC RAS, delivered a lecture titled "The Current State of the Study of Clastic Rocks" as part of a scientific seminar for specialists at LUKOIL Engineering, LLC.

The lecture addressed modern challenges in the study of clastic rocks, an important group of sedimentary formations. It covered the principles of material and structural classification, discussed the effectiveness of granulometric analysis for reconstructing sediment genesis, and reviewed available foreign methodological approaches to studying sand accumulations.
