December 3, 2025. From November 26 to 28, 2025, the 5th Young Scientists Congress was held in the Sirius Federal Territory (Krasnodar Krai). Daniel Veis, an engineer at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and the Arctic Big Data at the Geophysical Center RAS, for the first time participated in the Young Scientists Congress.

The young scientist attended lectures delivered by representatives of the Russian Science Foundation, the Russian University of Transport (MIIT), MIIT's Advanced Engineering School "VSM Academy", and the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The 5th Young Scientists Congress brought together more than 8,000 participants from 89 Russian regions and 100 countries worldwide. The invited guests included world-class specialists and scientists. For the first time, the number of applications surpassed 16,000. The program featured discussions, scientific debates, lectures by renowned researchers, workshops etc. With a total of 550 events, the Congress covered nearly all key fields of science and technology.
