February 4, 2026. From February 3 to 6, the XXXIV International Scientific Symposium "Miner's Week – 2026", the largest event in the mining industry, is being held in Moscow at the National University of Science and Technology MISIS.
Chief Scientist, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani; Director, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev; Deputy Director for Science, Corresponding Member of RAS Viktor Tatarinov, who moderated a number of meetings, and other scientists from the Geophysical Center of RAS participated in the symposium.
The National University of Science and Technology MISIS is the organizer of the "Miner's Week – 2026". The symposium brought together more than 2,000 participants from leading industry enterprises, as well as scientific and educational organizations. The program includes meetings of the Scientific Council of RAS on Mining Sciences, the Scientific Council of RAS on the Problems of the National Economic Use of Explosions, the VIII Technical Council on Geomechanics, and other events.
