September 21, 2026. On September 18, the thesis defense of Anastasia Odintsova, a research scientist at the Laboratory of Geoinformatics and the Arctic Big Data at the GC RAS, was successfully held.

The topic of the PhD dissertation was "Development of Geoinformation Support for Substantiation of the Prospects for Development of Oil and Gas Bearing Provinces" (specialty "Geoinformatics, Cartography"). The defense took place at the MISIS University of Science and Technology.

The scientific supervisor was Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Viktor Tatarinov.
