September 18, 2025. On September 18, 2025, the 92nd meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Geophysical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It was conducted by Chief Scientist of the GC RAS, Academician of RAS Alexey Gvishiani.

Director of the GC RAS, Corresponding Member of RAS Anatoly Soloviev solemnly presented the Deputy Director for Science of the GC RAS, D.Sc. Boris Dzeboev with the medal "For Impeccable Work and Distinction". It’s an award from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation for significant achievements in science and conscientious work.

The Scientific Secretary of the GC RAS, PhD Roman Krasnoperov spoke about the publication activity of the scientists and the results of intellectual activity.

Chief of the Geophysical Monitoring Sector, PhD Dmitry Kudin made a presentation on participation in the IAGA / IASPEI Joint Scientific Meeting 2025, which was held in Lisbon (Portugal) on August 31 – September 5. He led the Russian delegation and presented a number of reports there.

Boris Dzeboev spoke about the organization of geophysical monitoring on the territory of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania.

Chief of the Laboratory of Electronic Publications PhD Ernest Kedrov spoke about a special issue of the Russian Journal of Earth Sciences, which will be dedicated to the strongest earthquake that occurred in Kamchatka in 2025. Other issues were also discussed.
